About:

Assistant Professor of Art; MFA, University of Montana.

Caroline Peters teaches classes in Contemporary Art Theory, Twentieth Century Art, and Exhibition Design and is also the Director of the CSU-Pueblo Fine Art Gallery.

She also is a performance artist, video artist and painter. In 2002 she co-founded and artspace called Goatsilk Gallery in Missoula, MT to promote the work of new genre artists. Half of the collaborative duo also called, "Goatsilk," she uses video, performance and net art as a vehicle for exploring the aesthetics of immateriality, magic, human/animal conciousness, cheap ugliness, connectivity, technology and religion.

Her work was selected as a Critic's Choice by Fred Camper of The Chicago Reader and reviewed by Alan Artner of the Chicago Tribune.
