Applied Horn Instructor
STEPHENIE OSMAN is a French horn player/teacher currently living in Pueblo West. She joined the Colorado State University Pueblo faculty in 2011. Stephenie currently plays principal horn in the Pueblo Symphony. She is a regular sub with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs. As a French hornist, she has performed with the International Lyric Academy in Rome, the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra and the Greenwich Village Symphony. Stephenie also performs as a freelance musician and teaches private lessons.
Stephenie attended Florida State University with a full-ride scholarship in French Horn Performance. She then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Music degree in French Horn performance from Mannes College the New School for Music in New York City. Her primary teachers include Ranier DeIntinis, Erik Ralske, Timothy Jones, William Capps, and Sally Ann Wilson.
Stephenie is the proud mother of her wonderful little boy Aaron and also teaches horn students privately out of her home in Pueblo West.
